One of the most influential media in Vietnam recognizes the contributions of the Swiss-Vietnamese Business Gateway and the Association’s founder in its special series that celebrates Vietnam’s 48 years of national reunification.
Lausanne (SVBG) – The Thanh Niên Newspaper‘s 7-article series themed “Chung dòng máu Lạc Hồng” (roughly means We are the Lac Hong) was dedicated to tribute overseas Vietnamese who have contributed to their home country’s development on the occasion of double commemorations of the Hung Kings (the Vietnam’s ancestors) and the Reunification Day.
This year 2023, the Commemoration Day of Hung Kings, which is 10 March in the lunar calendar, falls on 29 April in the solar calendar and followed immediately by the Reunification Day (30 April).
In the article published on the most significant day (the Reunification Day) among a string of public holidays that also includes the International Labor Day (1 May), the SVBG was identified as a valuable business promoter and linkage between Vietnam and Switzerland.
Meanwhile, SVBG founder and executive president, Ms. NGUYỄN Thị Thục, has also contributed to her home country on another private capacity as a seasoned journalist who has strong international media exposure.
Since years, she has helped foreign journalists portray fairly, accurately and somehow positively about Vietnam by providing them with unbiased, non-politically correct, precise, and well-explained information about the country and its people with sensitive issues unexcluded.
