SVBG, Embassy to push Vietnamese Agri-Food export to Switzerland, Europe

A delegation of Vietnam’s Embassy in Bern, led by Ambassador PHÙNG Thế Long, visited the Swiss southwestern town of Vevey on July 30 to discuss with the Swiss-Vietnamese Business Gateway on how to strengthen business exchanges between the two countries’ localities and to boost Vietnamese agri-food export to Switzerland.

During the weekend’s working trip organized by the SVBG, the Delegation visited Vevey Folklore Market, Vietnamese-owned grocery store Ly Thanh, Nestlé’s food-themed museum Alimentarium, and had lunch at the Vietnamese restaurant Maison Việt.

The Ambassador also suggested a business association of Vietnamese people be set up in Switzerland with SVBG being the secretariat body.
